Who I Am

I’m Kevin Neve, an instrumentation and controls professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience across process operations, field service, and technical sales. My career has taken me from chemical plants in Singapore to water treatment facilities and industrial sites across Canada — giving me a broad, field-tested perspective on how process instrumentation works in the real world.

I started Instrument Insights because most instrumentation content online is either too theoretical or buried in vendor datasheets. This blog is my attempt to cut through that — sharing practical, no-nonsense knowledge for engineers and technicians who work with sensors, transmitters, and process control systems every day.
